About Bwiti Healing Journey

A Sacred Path to Healing and Remembrance

Bwiti Healing Journeys offers guided Iboga retreats rooted in the Bwiti tradition, designed for those seeking real healing, clarity, and lasting change. This work is not an isolated experience. It is a structured process that combines ceremony, teachings, and integration so transformation can take hold in a real and sustainable way.

In the Bwiti tradition, known as the “study of life,” Iboga is approached as a teacher. Each retreat is held as a grounded and intentional experience that supports deep self-exploration, accountability, and truth. This is where people begin to understand themselves differently and move forward with greater clarity and stability.

Retreats are held in carefully selected locations across Canada and Mexico. Exact location details are shared after inquiry to ensure the right fit, safety, and experience for each person.

GUIDED BY SOUL, GROUNDED IN TRUTH

Healing Rooted in Tradition, Structure, and Integration

Iboga on its own is not what creates lasting change. What makes an Iboga retreat effective is the context it is held in. The Bwiti tradition provides that context through ceremony, teachings, and a clear understanding of how the mind works.

This approach is different from clinical or Westernized Ibogaine experiences. Rather than isolating the medicine, Bwiti integrates it with a system that gives people direction, clarity, and practical tools they can carry into their lives. This reduces confusion and supports deeper understanding during and after the experience.

Integration is a core part of the process. Preparation, ceremony, and post-retreat support are all connected. This allows what is experienced during the retreat to translate into real change in daily life. Without integration, the experience can fade. With it, the work continues.

What makes Bwiti Healing Journeys different:

  • Rooted in the full Bwiti Iboga tradition and the study of life
  • Focused on integration before, during, and after the retreat
  • Designed for lasting transformation, not temporary relief
  • Structured, safe, and grounded in real experience
  • Led by an initiated Bwiti Iboga provider with deep training

Integration is everything.
Without it, ceremony is just an experience.
With it, it’s transformation.

CEREMONY OF SOUL

For Those Ready to
Do the Work

This work is for people who feel called to Iboga and are ready to approach it with honesty, commitment, and openness. Many have already tried therapy, personal development, or other forms of healing and are still searching for something that creates real and lasting change.

You are not looking for an escape. You are looking for truth, clarity, and a way to move forward differently. This requires more than a single experience. It requires guidance, structure, and a process that supports you before, during, and after the retreat.

This may be a fit if you:

  • Are ready to take responsibility for your healing
  • Want a grounded and structured approach to Iboga
  • Value authenticity, safety, and real guidance
  • Are open to integration and ongoing support
  • Are willing to face yourself honestly
  • Are committed to creating lasting change in your life

If you are considering this work, the next step is to explore upcoming retreat dates and locations.
Each Iboga retreat is intentionally kept small and structured to support safety, depth, and personal guidance throughout the process.

Integration is everything.
Without it, ceremony is just an experience.
With it, it’s transformation.

Flynn’s APPROACH

A Path to Real,
Lasting Chang

At Bwiti Healing Journeys, an Iboga retreat is not just a single experience. It is a complete process that includes preparation, ceremony, and integration, all working together to support real, lasting change.

Each retreat includes guided Iboga ceremonies held in the Bwiti way. These ceremonies are supported by teachings, music, and ritual that give you direction while you are in the experience. You are not left to figure it out on your own. You are guided through it so you can understand what is happening and how to work with it.

Preparation begins before the retreat, creating a foundation for safety and clarity. During the retreat, there is daily guidance, conversation, and support to help you process what the medicine reveals. This is where the work starts to make sense and become clear.

After the retreat, integration is where the real work continues. You are not sent home to figure it out alone. Ongoing integration calls provide coaching, guidance, and accountability so you can actually apply what you experienced. This is what allows the change to last.

Most people fall back into old patterns without this level of support. With it, you learn how to work with your thoughts, stay connected to what you experienced, and continue moving forward in a different way.

This is what makes the work effective. It’s not just the ceremony. It’s the guidance, the integration,
and the support that surround it.

This is what makes the work effective. It’s not just the ceremony.
It’s the guidance, the integration, and the support that surround it.

Bwiti Iboga Provider & Iboga Retreat Guide

ABOUT YOUR GUIDE

Walking the Path of Healing & Remembrance

Flynn’s journey with Iboga began in a place of real need. After years of struggling with addiction and trying different paths that did not lead to lasting change, he turned to Iboga as a final option. What he experienced was not just relief, but a complete shift in how he understood himself and his life.

Through the Bwiti tradition, he experienced a level of clarity and peace that he had never known before. That experience led him to commit fully to this work.

Flynn went on to train extensively under Moughenda, a 10th-generation Bwiti shaman, spending years learning the tradition directly at its source. Through this training and initiation, he became one of the very few Westerners authorized to work with Iboga within the Bwiti lineage.

Today, he leads Iboga retreats for people who are ready to face themselves honestly and create real change. His approach is direct, grounded, and focused on results. He brings both lived experience and deep training into the work, creating an environment that is safe, structured, and clear.

“I carry this medicine because I’ve lived what it can do.”

Iboga was my last resort. Nothing else worked, and this medicine saved my life.

"When I look back at the past three years, I see a clear break from my long-standing patterns. This plant was the catalyst in 2023, taking me on a trajectory well beyond my expectations. I was a lifelong sufferer of PTSD (which I had been slowly chipping away at, with 7 years of therapy under my belt that seemed to have hit a wall). I was amazed to discover that the remainder of my PTSD symptoms were completely eliminated after my first introduction to iboga. As the skeptic that I am, I expected the symptoms to return once the ceremony's afterglow subsided, yet they've never started up again.

Working with Flynn's gentle guidance, my life has changed in surprising ways. Ever since my first set of dual ceremonies, I have a new level of respect and awareness for my body and spirit. On top of that, I can look back and see how working with Flynn's practice has expanded and upgraded my entire worldview.

I'll always be thankful for Flynn's immense talents in administering these life-changing experiences for me. I'm definitely lucky to have received such attentive care and guidance, which has truly transformed my existence for the better."

"I had a groundbreaking experience working with Iboga. Flynn, a very grounded and wise individual, made my experience smooth and significantly easier to integrate. I highly recommend working with Flynn because his energy is very calm, which naturally put me at ease. He's also an excellent cook.

Flynn continues to check in on his participants. It really warms my heart to know that even after six or seven months, we still have his contact and support. Thank you, Flynn, for your guidance."

Ana

"I met Flynn in Gabon, Africa, at Moughenda's Village. I was there for provider training, and Flynn helped train me while also assisting Moughenda during ceremonies for retreat guests. I have shared medicine space with Flynn several times, and it was always a beautiful experience. He is full of knowledge when it comes to Bwiti traditions and the correct way to handle and serve this amazing spirit of Iboga. Your safety and well-being is at the very top of the list with Flynn. He not only takes this very seriously, he lives his daily life by what he teaches. He is a wonderful man and a solid provider of this medicine, and I'm very proud to have him as a colleague and, more importantly, my Bwiti Brother."
